As a result, Mozart’s most ‘nocturnal’ work is illuminated as if by ... magic. Cet enregistrement représente pour René Jacobs une forme d’aboutissement mozartien : après la découverte d’une autre façon de considérer la “trilogie Da Ponte” et un regard profondément renouvelé de deux “seria” (Idomeneo et La Clémence de Titus), il s’est attaché à conjuguer la multitude de points de vue exposés plus ou moins sensiblement dans cette Flûte, bien au-delà des seuls rites maçonniques et du mélange de genres théâtraux.
