Le Grand Syllabus 2016/2017
Career opportunities PSIA’s mission is to ensure a multi-disciplinary professional program for careers in: • International organizations • Non-governmental organizations operating at an international level • Public administrations that require international training (e.g. foreign affairs, cooperation, defense) • Transnational firms, etc. As the career prospects of PSIA graduates cover a broad spectrum of functions, geographies, and organizations, each student must actively build a trajectory that is adapted to his/her career objectives. PSIA faculty and staff individually accompany and advise PSIA students, and students may also consult with Sciences Po career placement services. A career forum for international affairs is organized every year as well as a number of sector-oriented panel discussions and events. Dual Degrees PSIA engages in nine international dual degree programs with prestigious universities: • Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs in New York (United States) • Freie Universität in Berlin (Germany) • Georgetown University Law School in Washington (United States) • London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in London (United Kingdom) • Luigi Bocconi University in Milan (Italy) • MGIMO in Moscow (Russia) • Peking University in Beijing (China) • Stockholm School of Economics (Sweden) • University of Saint-Gallen in St Gall (Switzerland) “PSIA excels at bringing the gap between theory and practice. In my experience, this is ideal for future leaders who aims to thrive as innovative and responsible actors of a challenging global world” (Enrico Letta, Dean of PSIA).
