light how cinematographic discourse operates, the mechanisms of storytelling and how it allows the writer to formulate a discourse. The students will be encouraged to reﬂect on the singular vision of the world that cinema offers. They will put into practice their observations through short writing exercises in class and the elaboration throughout the semester of a script for a short movie. At midterm they will have to
present to the class a ﬁrst version of their text, and explain what are their intentions and questions. A ﬁnal version will be submitted at the end of the semester. The main goal of this workshop is to help the students address their personal interrogations and realize the singularity of their vision and writing. Required reading : to be deﬁned.
