Program objectives The Master in Financial Regulation and Risk Management opens up new job opportunities for its graduates, who have been trained to understand international ﬁnancial structures as well as the complexity of ﬁnancial products and regulation, and to anticipate future shifts in risk management and compliance. Orientation and speciﬁc features This one-year (3-semester) Master program is designed to provide a unique comprehensive view of political ﬁnance, with in-depth analysis of ﬁnancial regulation, risk perception and compliance (risk management and control). It adopts an interdisciplinary approach that combines economics, ﬁnance, public policy, law, regulation, business management and ethics. Designed for young graduates with backgrounds in economics, ﬁnance, law and engineering, the program’s principal subjects are risk management, regulation of ﬁnancial markets and institutions, and regulatory compliance and management in light of current ﬁnancial, economic and banking crises. The program, taught entirely in English by leading international academics and experienced European regulators and bankers, examines all types of regulation and risk, with an emphasis on the ability to put them into practice and manage them through a risk analysis approach. The program also prepares students for three internationally recognized exams: the Chartered Financial Analyst Level 1, the Financial Risk Manager certiﬁcate Level 1 and the Certiﬁed Exam Autorité des marchés ﬁnanciers. Career opportunities Graduates are qualiﬁed for high-level positions in a wide range of sectors: • Regulatory authorities (international organizations, central banks, national regulatory authorities). • Banking (risk management, risk analysis). • Financial consulting and auditing (internal and external).
