Le Grand Syllabus 2016/2017
The School of Public Affairs has also developed a methodology series that brings students together to think about public policy, past and present. Innovative pedagogy is a big part of all the School’s programs: practical exercises, flipped classrooms, digital access to knowledge (e-courses, online modules, etc.). To integrate this strategy into the work of the School on a more lasting basis, the Policy Lab was created in 2016. The Policy Lab has developed a range of pedagogical tools (case study libraries, simulations, etc.), as well as two environments designed to enable students to develop novel projects, in conjunction with the School’s public and private partner institutions, the public policy incubator and the democratic innovation project, which allow students to develop initiatives and share their solutions. The career opportunities available to graduates of the School of Public Affairs cover a wide range of fields, in both public and private sectors, and scales, from the local to the international. The School produces public policy thinkers as well as those ready to put it into practice.
