*You must register for each of the mandatory Policy Stream Courses that correspond to your policy stream. In order to obtain your diploma, you must validate (grade at or above 10/20) at least 3 of the 5 mandatory Policy Stream Courses. In case of non-validation (grade below 10/20) or default (no grades) you will have the possibility of registering for a make-up exam. The grade obtained on the make-up exam will become your new grade for the entire course. In the case of a default, your situation will be examined by the graduation committee.

Policy Lab - Case Study * (choose 1)
* You must register for a Case Study. Validating a Case Study (grade at or above 10/20) will give you 4 ECTS credits. All Case Studies at the School of Public Affairs are open to you. You may choose courses taught in French or English. A C1 level in the language of instruction is recommended. Sessions with instruction take place once every two weeks (12 hourse/semester) in order to allow students to work autonomously between each session.

Living Languages * (1 mandatory)
* Registration for a language course is mandatory, whichever the language. In order to obtain your Sciences Po diploma you must validate an English level that is at least equivalent to C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This level is validated at the end of your studies (see conditions on the languages page ->http://formation.sciences-po.fr/contenu/ langues-etrangeres). * In addition to your mandatory Policy Stream Courses, you may register for up to 2 Optional Courses: - one Optional Course to be chosen among the Policy Lab offering or a Complementary Course for French civil service exam preparation. - a second Living Language Course. Policy Lab’s optional seminars speciﬁcally address initiatives such as the Incubator of Public Policy and Civic Tech. They are incorporated in the ”public innovation track” and offer seminars combining design-thinking, digital and social science. They help students to incubate their future innovative project. For your information, the following courses are offered during Semesters 1, 2 and 3: Culture générale and Questions internationales.
