Écoles, masters et doctorats / Schools, Masters and Doctorates / École du management et de l’innovation, master Finance et stratégie
Orientation and specific features This Master is organized around four key principles that sum up its specific features and goals: • A balanced mix of courses in finance and strategy is provided, enabling students to analyze all aspects of a situation. This pedagogical method is particularly relevant for understanding the current crisis and challenges linked to globalization. • Technical courses are introduced gradually to harmonize differences in student backgrounds in the first year, with the aim of achieving a high level of technical training in the second year. • Instructors with high-level professional experience use case studies systematically in their teaching. • The international dimension of finance is taken into account in the implementation of international projects: project finance, risk management, assessment of country risk. These principles underpin each of the three semesters of the program, which are followed by an internship. The required courses in the first year enable students to master the essential concepts of finance in relation to the development and competitive environment of companies. Courses are also offered in economics, strategy and corporate law. Students may choose from among some 50 electives in deciding which of the following concentrations they wish to take in the second year of the program.
