This Talbot Lago Baby T15LB kind is very special. It is a symbol of friendship between Antonio Lago and the President Henry Beauchesne. She had only two owners and has all its historical record. It has the serial number 121 524 and had in 1953 an engine change of No. 15 532 (bill). It has a 4 springs Cotal gearbox, which is very rare. There have been only three cars built like this. President Beauchesne worked hard as evidenced by the important folder (comes with the car), to help Anthony Lago in its rescue works of Talbot company. President Beauchesne was then honorary president of the court of the Seine. As such, as evidenced numerous very friendly exchanges between Anthony Lago and President Beauchesne, he organized a meeting with several officials including the Finance Minister Edgar Faure. It seems to thank him, Anthony Lago sold in November 13, 1953 this car (which was probably his own) to 450,000 francs and the contemporaneous documents which are included in the file, it was listed at 850,000 francs. Jacques Blomet acquired the car in 1966 from the hands of the President Beauchesne widow. The car needs to be restored. It has been stored dry since 1979. The last family trip was the wedding of the daughter of Mr Blomet in 1968. This beautiful and historic car, who personified the French taste can find its place in the Elegance competition.
