This is Chapron who was chosen by Citroen to design and manufacture the convertible facility, launched in 1960 (vintage 1961) and deleted at the end of 1971. This vintage convertible factory followed the technical evolution of the sedan, and existed version DS 19 (19601965), DS 21 (1965-1971) and DS 21 EFI (1969-1970). Ivanoff, renowned coachbuilder, has become the reference for the DS transformations, as well as works-
hops Mr Fabre for the Ferrari 250 GTO or workshops Mr Broual for reconstruction of Dalahaye 135 and other racing Delage. Performed in workmanlike, convertibles "Ivanoff" strictly comply with reinforcements obligations of the convertibles "factories". The "Ivanoff Kit" is approved and allows the transformation of a DS sedan into a beautiful cabriolet. Today is pesented a beautiful cabriolet built on the same basis. From a DS 21 IE sedan, the Ivanoff kit was purchased and adapted to the body completely laid bare in September 2015 (€ 53 000 bills). The work is rigo-
rous, extremely respectful of the authenticity of convertibles DS until the bootlid fiberglass. Indeed, the bare chest was treated and repainted, mechanical surrender completely renovated, and new upholstery is the most beautiful effect. Its restoration file will be provided.
