Previously the personal vehicle of Gérard Godfroy, the designer and co-founder of the firm, this Venturi Transcup has unique specifications, incorporating all the improvements and additions of the evolution of the model. The list includes a new dashboard, stainless steel exhaust system with catalyzers, improved gear-change, aviation air-intakes, spare-wheel cover, door pockets, 2-part engine shield, Venturi logos on the door sills, electrically operated windows, signed bodywork. The drophead body is particularly elegant and technically successful. The roof panels can be stowed in the front luggage compartment. When closed, the car is watertight and has all the advantages of the fixed-head coupé. When bought in 1998 by the current owner, this car had covered a mere 264 km ! The airconditioning, which was refilled in June 2016, works perfectly. Only the little used electric motors of the seats need replacing, but the new parts, made by Renault, are supplied with the car. This car, which has never suffered crash damage, is well known to the Venturi club and the owner’s and service handbook have been signed by Gérard Godfroy. Very pleasant to drive, the car has perfectly neutral handling thanks to the mid-engine layout. In fact, the drop-head, which has a particularly rigid chassis, was chosen for the crash-tests. An elegant car, with good performance provided by the 210 bph V6 engine and all the pleasure offered by a drophead, this vehicle has the additional attraction of having belonged to one of the main leaders of the Venturi adventure. Lastly, Venturi, the most recent major French specialist car manufacturer, is arousing ever greater interest. This Transcup 210 version, of which hardly more than ten were made, guarantees great exclusivity.
