The Renault Clio V6, launched in 2001, was the natural successor of the Renault 5 Turbo and used the same mid-engined layout. However, in the place of the turbocharged four cylinder engine, a naturally aspirated 230 bhp 3 litre V6 was installed. The car was designed in collaboration with Tom Walkinshaw Racing, the firm that gained its fame with its competition successes for Jaguar and its signature on some of Jaguar’s most sporting road variants. The sporting qualities of this new Clio V6 immediately won over a clientele of enthusiasts. According to its chassis number, this car was delivered new in France and first registered on June 20th 2001. A year later, in 2002, she was exported to Spain and registered there. The grey paintwork is well preserved and the car has the rear lights of the Clio Phase 2 and a spoiler at the top of the tailgate, extending the roofline. The seats, upholstered in grey leather and blue alcantara, are in good condition. Only the steering wheel shows a bit of wear. The drilled aluminium pedals and the white faced instruments give a sporty note which suits the high performance of this model. The distance reading is a little less than 57 700 km (35 850 miles). The vehicle is accompanied by an entirely blank service record, all the handbooks in their Renault wallet and a spare set of keys.
