Bringing More Business In-House
The expansion of the Stamford, Connecticut sales and marketing facility in 1992 provided space for the creation of a full service, in-house advertising agency. The Creative Services division grew quickly, doing package design, adding a print production department, beginning a public relations group, and building

a photography studio and an image retouching department. Watching the continuous evolution of computer technology and the Internet, and the sea change in the way companies do business, Lee gave Creative Services the go-ahead to bring as much technology as it could handle in-house. By 2008, Conair web developers and multimedia producers, supported by web designers, were building dynamic database-driven websites, hosted internally, for all stateside divisions of Conair. Going forward, the group will eventually translate all current sites into multilingual portals to support an international web presence for the entire Conair Corporation. In 2008, the company’s Creative Services IT department inaugurated a sophisticated project management workflow system to consolidate and track
